WHY SUPERBOARD™

Superboard™ helps KB Global create tougher, better-protected wall assemblies for modern prefabricated steel builds. It is a magnesium sulfate board designed for interior and exterior construction zones where durability, moisture resistance, and long-term performance matter.

For South Florida projects, it gives homeowners, developers, and design teams a cleaner path to a wall system that pairs well with light-gauge steel framing while supporting fire resistance, water resistance, mold resistance, and practical jobsite workability.

APPLICATION & INSTALLATION

Superboard™ can be used across exterior wall assemblies, interior partitions, ceilings, tile backing, flooring support zones, and other areas where a stable, finish-ready board is needed. It is easy to cut, drill, trim, and shape with ordinary tools, helping crews move faster in the field.

The board is available in multiple panel sizes and thicknesses, with one smooth side suited to painting or wallpaper-ready finishes and the other better suited to tile and textured applications. That flexibility makes it a strong fit for both residential and commercial projects.
